Sustainable Aviation Fuel (SAF):
Sustainable Aviation Fuel is a renewable fuel designed for aviation, reducing lifecycle greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions by up to 80% compared to conventional jet fuel. Derived from used cooking oil (UCO) through hydroprocessing. As more aviation regulations and government mandates and prioritise SAF, demand is surging, helping to decarbonise the aviation sector while aligning with global climate action targets.

 

Renewable Diesel (RD):
Renewable Diesel is a direct replacement for petroleum diesel, used in transportation and heavy machinery. It provides cleaner combustion, reducing urban air pollution and tailpipe emissions. Produced from UCO, Renewable Diesel minimises reliance on raw feedstocks, prevents waste, and supports sustainability goals through improved air quality and environmental safety. The global Renewable Diesel market is projected to grow at a compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of around 8-10% between 2024 and 2030, driven by sustainability goals and regulatory policies.

Hydrotreated Vegetable Oil (HVO):
Hydrotreated Vegetable Oil is a versatile fuel suitable for cold climates and high-performance applications. It is chemically stable, has a long shelf life, and produces low lifecycle emissions. Derived from UCO, HVO enhances circular economy practices by repurposing waste and supporting sustainable energy transitions across industrial and transportation sectors. By 2030, global HVO production capacity is projected to exceed 50 million tons annually, driven by increasing investments in global renewable fuel facilities.
